Qualifying as an Architect in 2001, Fiona spent four years at a local Wisbech company. Whilst working on a prestigious listed building in Chatteris, she was head-hunted by the then conservation officer at Fenland District Council. She spent five years with the Authority before moving to Huntingdon District Council and completing a Masters Degree in the Conservation of the Historic Environment. In 2012 Fiona left to join one of the contractors she had worked with and has undertaken all of their architectural work since then. Earlier this year she decided to set up on her own and Artifex was formed.
Fiona is a Chartered RIBA architect, registered with the Architects' Registration Board (ARB) and a member of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB).
